A wonderful experience with lots of helpful and interesting information about Zenjoki Temple and Nagano. My daughter and I did this while the rest of the family skied and we are so glad we did. The local foods included were very thoughtfully selected and very special. Loved the traditional oyaki dumplings experience in front of the open fire (perfect on the snowy day). Delicious! And the tea and sweets in a store that had once been a tea house were delightful. I bought extra for the family. Our food quirks (I’m a pescatarian and don’t drink alcohol) were taken into account by our host and it was a very enjoyable and informative morning. Thoroughly recommend!!

My teenage son and I had a fabulous time on our food tour! Lena was training a new guide, Erica, and they were knowledgeable and kind. We learned about Shinto and Buddhist culture, and ate delicious local specialities. Our favourite was the breaded pork skewers w miso paste. Yum! Highly recommend!!

What a super fun tour, highly recommend!! Giz is a kind person who knows so much about the Harajuku area and food, and showed us some places that were out of the way which we definitely wouldn't have found ourselves. My daughters thought Giz was great and they loved the experience.
