We had a lovely evening with Taisho Nakatani and Mrs. Nakatani.
My wife and I were lucky enough to have a private seating as the only guests for our anniversary. The intamite setting allowed us to learn about the couple’s relationship, they are a very cute and humorous husband-wife duo running the show.
Watching Nakatani-san’s precision and execution was a unique The courses Were a work of art And tasted delicious also.
Afterwards Mrs. Nakatani went above and beyond by escorting us through the rainy Osaka streets to a local taiyakishop and purchased us far too many taiyaki for dessert.
My wife really loved our evening at Sushidokoro Nakatani, and that means everything to me.
10/10, we will be back next time we are in Osaka

We had a fantastic dinner at this restaurant. It’s worth every penny. The chefs discipline and mastery is impressive and the quality of the food and its preparation is in-maculate. His wife is also amazing. We ended up having a great conversation with them about our home country in Costa Rica and we even took some pictures together. Loved the experience, venue and of course the food. Will recommend it a thousand times times!

This was, by far, one of the best dining experiences I've ever had. As a true sushi and omakase fan, I make it a point to try various venues in both the US and Japan.
The pacing of the dinner was perfect and each course was beautiful in its presentation. I was dining solo and it was clear to see the rapport that the chef had with the other seven people in attendance.
I would definitely return to Nakatani on my next trip to Osaka. It's small, quaint, and truly an experience to watch the chef work.

The omakase experience at Namba Sushi Kyu was excellent. The four of us enjoyed the fresh sushi and all the non sushi dishes, in total, over 15 courses. Although his English was limited, the chef was still able to explain each dish using a translator app on his cell phone or pointing to the type of fish he was serving us on a paper listing the names of the various fishes. We will definitely go back when we are back in Osaka in the future and highly recommend Namba Sushi Kyu if you are looking for an incredible omakase experience with great food and service
