AUDACE

AUDACE
Simple Italian food and wine with a less-is-more approach have earned Nakameguro’s Audace a Michelin Bib Gourmand award for 2025.
Restaurant Details
The Italian restaurant Audace in Nakameguro is an open-concept sister store to Sangubashi's Regalo. Its guiding principle is a remark by Leonardo Divinci: "Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication." This principle is evident when guests lay their eyes on the glass-front restaurant, where dark wood creates frames for the dancing candlelight. A single large dining table in the center of the room looks out onto the live kitchen, where charcoal-grilled meat and appetizers are prepared in full view.
A wide variety of dried and fresh, hand-cut pasta features are included in the course and an a la carte menu. "Poor Man's Spaghetti" is the signature dish, a testament to Audace's emphasis on Italy's simple, rustic flavors.
Audace's wine list is sommelier-driven, too. Classical and natural wines, all sourced from Italy, are served until late into the evening. While guests can sample various dishes through the course menu, Audace is also an ideal setting for drinks and a-la-carte plates. Reasonable pricing, flexibility, and intentionality make this a Michelin-awarded Bib Gourmand restaurant.
