True to its name, "Little Chef," projections of dwarf chefs appear on the table, each tending to their stations as they prepare the meal. These tiny chefs interact with life-sized vegetables that seem enormous in their hands, and even "cook" a beef steak on a projected grill before, voila, a real steak appears before your very eyes. Even small whimsical touches, such as a flower box that showers the table with vibrant petals, add an extra layer of enchantment. Food-wise, expect a seamless blend of contemporary French cuisine and the excellence of its sister restaurant, Yakiniku Kappo Note, known for its creative spin on wagyu. Nods of French recipes come in the shape of beef cheek tenderly stewed in red wine, while pistou sauce — a Provencal blend of garlic, fresh basil, and olive oil — dresses delicate salmon carpaccio.
