Good to Know
"Teppanyaki in Ginza serving A5 Japanese Black Wagyu and Kobe beef, with seasonal seafood such as Ise lobster and abalone, at the counter or in a private room."
Located in Tokyo's upscale Ginza district, Ginza Wagyu Souei is a teppanyaki restaurant specializing in A5-ranked Japanese wagyu. The menu centers on A5 Japanese Black Wagyu selected by the head chef, alongside courses featuring genuine Kobe beef certified by the Kobe Beef Marketing & Distribution Promotion Association.
Course menus showcase wagyu prepared in several ways, from seared wagyu sashimi and tataki to seared wagyu nigiri and onion soup, before a main steak cooked on the teppan. Guests can choose from cuts such as chateaubriand, fillet, sirloin and rump, with a range of portion sizes for both lunch and dinner.
Seasonal ingredients complement the beef, including seafood from Toyosu Market such as Japanese spiny lobster and abalone. The rice is organic Koshihikari grown on Sado Island, a recognized World Agricultural Heritage site.
The atmosphere blends traditional Japanese design with modern elegance. Dine at the teppanyaki counter or in a private room inspired by shinden-zukuri architecture, suited to celebrations, business dinners, or a special evening out in Ginza.
Guests with dietary restrictions and/or food allergies should inform the restaurant beforehand. The restaurant might not be able to accommodate guests who make same-day requests.

I took my husband here for his birthday dinner, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. The space was small and intimate, the staff was kind and attentive, and every course was beautifully prepared and thoughtfully presented.
The Wagyu was the best steak I have ever had. It melted in our mouths like butter. Expensive, but absolutely worth it. I would definitely recommend and would love to come back again.
