Conveniently located near Akasaka Station, Matsumoto serves Edomae sushi in the classic Tokyo style, but with such a wide range of ingredients and styles that you’ll get to taste the whole of Japan at their counter!
Unusual ingredients from around the country are used on top of their nigiri, which is on the smaller side to allow you to sample a greater variety. Even conventional ingredients are treated in novel ways, as with the sea urchin wrapped in squid.
Eight counter seats and one private room are available, making Matsumoto a great spot for anything from solo dining to special occasions.
