The first draw of this Fukuoka seafood kappo is its delicious food, and the second is its fantastic range of nihonshu (Japanese sake).
The counter-only restaurant specializes in local fish delicacies which cycle with the seasons to match availability at the local markets. One of their best dishes is the crab, which is served as fresh as possible, seeing as they keep them live on the premises.
Other highlights include warming soups in winter, and refreshing slices of sashimi. This fish-based feast is a great way to taste the very best seafood that Kyushu has to offer.
