It was an outstanding experience with a lovely host! One of our favourite things we did in Japan, we would absolutely recommend for everyone who enjoys going deeper into Japanese food and ramen.

I had a wonderful time learning from Chihiro! She is warm, knowledgeable, and her English is exceptional, which made everything easy to follow. Whether you’re interested in chado, want to learn how to prepare matcha properly, or simply enjoy a good cup of tea, this class is an absolute must.

We had lots of fun on our tour, as there were no other people on the tour it felt very intimate and private. I enjoy learning about the area and exploring the narrow little back streets and history. My partner loves Karaoke and it was so much fun to sing in the bar, with the hostess and our guides. We appreciated everyone joining in and sharing the experience with us - it was more than I thought it was going to be and truly a special experience.

Delicious food, impeccable service, and they even prepared a special vegan course for one of us! An exceptional dining experience in Tokyo.

Very nice experience! Yuka-san was able to adjust the menu to my request (I wanted to try making sesame tofu) and taught me a lot about shojin ryori. Afterwards we went to the supermarket and she helped me to pick up the things I wanted to buy and take home with me. Thank you! ありがとうございます！

The food was delicious. The countertop was an amazing experience by seeing the chef do his magic from a few feet away.

A small gem tucked away in an improbable neighbourhood. Mostly locals, excellent set lunch, attentive service, authentic Showa atmosphere - like taking a step back in time. Highly recommended.

I was able to enjoy a full course of ayu (sweetfish). Since it’s not something you get to eat often, it was a great experience. Because the reservation site isn’t commonly used by Japanese people, the staff initially mistook me for a foreign visitor. However, I recommend booking through the site whenever possible because calling during business hours seems to trouble the staff. The restaurant was so busy that they didn’t even have time to handle phone calls. I definitely recommend the flavor. It’s not cheap, but I’m glad I chose a specialty restaurant. The staff were very nice.
