This was a wonderfull and homey experience me and my friends got to experience at the guidance of Kaori-san! First a trip at the grocery store and getting introduction on the ingredients and tips on the gluten free products was great! Cooking experience was relaxing, we got to participate and learn on the proper cutting methods and how the gyoza dough is made from scratch. The ending result was so delicious we all will definitely be replicating this dish back in our homecountry! Thank you for amazing Kaori-san for making this possible! ❤️ I hope we meet again in the future!

If you do one thing while you are in Kyoto, make it this! Aki is an amazing cook and a gracious and welcoming hostess. We learned so much about Japanese cooking techniques, flavours and ingredients. The meal was delicious, and the warmth and hospitality made it over the top.

Great cooking class with Yoshi! A great experience to have during a trip to Tokyo. We made ramen and gyoza, everything was fun and well explained, and the result was delicious! Thanks to Yoshi, who was very kind and helpful with all our questions. Highly recommended :)

This experience was truly a dream come true! 💕✨ From the very first moment, everything felt so warm, welcoming, and magical. She is not only an incredible teacher, but also the sweetest and most thoughtful host! You can really feel the love and passion she puts into every little detail. Her explanations were wonderful, and she made every step so easy to follow and enjoyable. I learned so much, and making Japanese fluffy pancakes was even more special than I had imagined! It was so much more than just a cooking class. I had a fantastic time with Sakura san, she's such a lovely person and great teacher. The mochi were delicious and it was nice to understand the cultural history behind the Japanese sweets. Chocolate the dog is a cutie pie ! Really great experience, cant wait to try again back home.Thank you Sakura san.

A magical moment shared with Katsuji-san and his wife. He took the time—especially with the children—to explain the techniques for making sushi, and he even prepared a dish for us that he used to serve in his restaurants. I highly recommend this kind of experience. Thanks again!

Our cooking class with Midori was absolutely fantastic and a truly unique experience! She was so warm and welcoming and took care of all our wishes. We learned so much about Japanese cooking, had a wonderful time in her kitchen, and the food was delicious. This was one of the highlights of our trip to Kyoto. Thank you so much, Midori! Hands down, one of the BEST experiences I’ve had in Japan so far! Our hosts were incredibly warm, welcoming, and kind, making us feel right at home. We started with a beautiful traditional Japanese tea ceremony, followed by making all FOUR types of ramen ourselves! It was such a fun and memorable hands-on experience. They even surprised us with freshly prepared sushi! The sweetest part was the ending: our host personally wrote each of our names in Japanese on beautiful postcards for us to take home. Such a thoughtful keepsake! You can truly feel their passion for Japanese culture and genuine hospitality. I enjoyed every moment and wholeheartedly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Osaka. Thank you for giving us such a beautiful memory. Definitely a highlight of my Japan trip!

The Best Cultural Experience in Osaka!Taking Katsuji’s ramen class was such a special experience! He welcomed my friend Rachel and me into his home with so much warmth and immediately made us feel comfortable. He guided us through making shoyu, miso, tonkotsu, and curry ramen. Every variety was delicious, and getting to prepare and taste the different styles made the experience even more enjoyable. What made the class especially memorable was Katsuji himself. He shared little glimpses of his life and made us feel completely at home. Despite the language barrier, we connected so easily that it felt like spending time with a new friend. He also wrote each of us a beautiful personalized Japanese note with our names and a sweet message, which I’ll treasure. I left with a full stomach and wonderful memories. I would happily visit Katsuji again and take another cooking class next time I’m in the area!

Our hosts Sakura san and Choco chan where fantastic. We got great insights not only on how to prepare the Mochi and Dango but also the heritage, meaning, and importance of them in Japanese culture. It was worth every second, fully recommended

We had a fantastic time at the ramen cooking class with Yoshi and Amo in Tokyo! Both hosts were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The class felt authentic and was a great experience. We made the ramen noodles and delicious dumplings from scratch, while learning about the preparation of traditional ramen broth, which takes around 12 hours to cook. It was fun, informative, and a real highlight of our trip. Highly recommended!
