I had an incredible time learning authentic Nagoya home cooking! Unlike other classes where you just watch and eat, this was completely hands-on, which made a huge difference. Yuko-san and her family were so welcoming that the evening felt more like a warm family gathering than a formal lesson. If you want to experience the true heart of Nagoya’s food culture beyond just sitting in a restaurant, this is the perfect way to do it. I will definitely be making that tebasaki when I get back home!

Easy going and educational experience! Our host/sensei Ms. Yuka guided us through 5 common Nagoya region dishes. She provided some educational background on origins and differences in ingredients as well as why they are used. The class was hosted at an easy to access location as well. Would recommend!

I was really impressed by this class! It is hard being vegan in Japan so it was nice to learn how many traditional dishes can easily be made vegan! Akiko is such a nice host. Very interesting to learn about all types of vegan sushi that can be made, compared to the Western World versions!

My wife and I had a truly amazing experience with Yuka who guided us in English through cooking some traditional Japanese food. We're definitely going to take these skills home with us and recommend this experience to anyone even slightly interested cooking Japanese food.
