Experience Details

Turn sushi into something playful, colorful, and completely your own in this hands-on cooking class centered around creative doughnut sushi.

Using a simple sushi mold, you will shape and decorate ring-shaped sushi, topped with fresh sashimi, salmon roe, kinshi tamago, crunchy vegetables, and other colorful ingredients. Each piece becomes a small edible work of art, with endless combinations to explore based on your taste and imagination.

This experience is easy to enjoy for everyone, including beginners, families, and first-time sushi makers. The process is simple enough for children while still leaving plenty of room for creativity.

Alongside doughnut sushi, you will also prepare traditional Japanese home-style dishes that introduce a wider range of flavors and techniques commonly enjoyed around the Japanese table.

Through cooking and conversation, the host shares small details about Japanese food culture, dining customs, and the spirit of omotenashi, or Japanese hospitality.

As the ingredients come together, the class feels both creative and relaxing. The bright colors, fresh sushi rice, delicate egg strips, and glossy salmon roe make the sushi just as fun to create as it is to eat.

By the end of the experience, you will sit down to enjoy your handmade creations while taking home practical cooking skills and a deeper appreciation for Japanese cuisine.

With every plate looking unique, there will be plenty of photo opportunities to capture your edible artwork before the first bite.
