Wonderful home-made Sri Lankan cuisine served with warmth and hospitality

It was a fantastic experience for my whole family. Introduced by Lanka Excursions Holidays, we visited Nirosha's lovely home. She cooked a delicious home-made Sri Lankan meal, followed by an exploration of her lovely herb and spice garden and a "lesson" in the outdoor classroom to learn how to write our names in Sinhalese script. Her entire family was warm and welcoming. We truly experienced a genuine Sri Lankan home visit.

By far the highlight of our trip! ⭐️

Our guide Nuwan brought us to his sisters home for a magical introduction to Sri Lankan cooking and culture. Nirosha and her family welcomed us into their beautiful colonial home, mossy, tropical, and surrounded by a wonderful garden filled with orchids, spices, and fruit trees. Authentic experience to make your trip more special!

Nirosha welcomed us in her house as family members. She’s an amazing soul: she helps less fortunate children getting schooled and she give them classes everyday! We met the children to give them some pencils, pens and notebooks and they were so happy. She’s also an amazing cook, everything was prepared with love, cleanliness and organization.
