Your guide will walk you through the sights, smells, and flavors that make San Pedro Market the beating heart of Cusco's food culture. From the market, head to the cooking studio for your hands-on Peruvian cooking class.This is a full-immersion experience where you cook everything yourself, guided by a local chef every step of the way. Kick things off by shaking your own mojito cocktail. Then prepare a traditional Peruvian starter, either causa acevichada or ceviche, using fresh ingredients sourced that same morning at the market. Next, cook lomo saltado, one of Peru's most iconic dishes, learning the techniques behind this beloved stir-fry. Wrap up by preparing your own pisco sour, Peru's national cocktail. Sit down to enjoy the dishes and drinks you made with your own hands, and leave with new recipes and cooking skills to recreate the flavors of Peru back home.
