In this plan, you will both wear a beautiful kimono and participate in an authentic Japanese tea ceremony led by a master teishu.
Choose your favorite kimono from a wide selection. A certified kimono expert will guide you through the dressing process to ensure a perfect fit. When booking, please provide your height, shoe size, and up to three preferred kimono numbers. One will be prepared for you, subject to availability.
The tea ceremony takes place in a serene 24-mat tatami room. You will enjoy freshly whisked matcha and seasonal wagashi, served with warm hospitality by a kimono-clad tea master.
While sipping tea, you will learn about the centuries-old traditions, tools, and etiquette of this refined art, once cherished by samurai as the ultimate form of cultural sophistication.
The kimono dressing takes around 30 minutes per person, and the entire experience lasts approximately 90 to 120 minutes.
No special preparation is needed, just bring yourself.
