Our teacher and translator were fun and encouraging as they taught us how to make gluten free takoyaki and okonomiyaki. They prepped all the ingredients, which were fresh and high quality. All the kitchen equipment were very nice and the facilities were excellent. If you have the chance, do take this class. It’s fun and rewarding to learn how to make these two delicious street food with gluten free ingredients.

Momo-san is an incredibly passionate hostess. Along with homemade takoyaki, you can try different types of nihonshu and perhaps discover your favourite flavour. I certainly enjoyed it very much and can highly recommend the experience. ありがとうございました。とても美味しかったです。

We really enjoyed cooking our own okonomiyaki and takoyaki using gluten-free ingredients, which made this experience both enjoyable and inclusive. It was our first time cooking gluten-free Japanese food, and the ingredient substitutions worked very well. The instructor was patient, enthusiastic, and attentive, always making sure we followed the steps correctly and helping us whenever we struggled. For more complicated steps, such as pouring the takoyaki batter into the pan, a short demonstration or video with English subtitles would be helpful. Cooking together was a great way to learn about Japanese culture beyond sightseeing. This experience is especially recommended for families or groups of friends looking for a fun, memorable activity to share and remember after returning home.

This was a fun and hands-on cooking experience where we were able to prepare Japanese food ourselves using gluten-free ingredients, which is not easy to find. Although we had made okonomiyaki before, trying takoyaki for the first time was especially enjoyable and memorable. The instructor and translator were very supportive, approachable, and patient, helping us understand each step clearly and making us feel comfortable throughout the class. The cooking room was well equipped, and the atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. A short demonstration or video at the beginning, along with a brief explanation of the ingredients and food background, would make the experience even easier to follow. Overall, it’s a great option for travelers looking for an interactive, inclusive cooking experience in Japan.

I really enjoyed my experience with Momo. She is a really cheerful person, she knows a lot about sake and we can clearly see that she is passionate about it. During this class, I made several Takoyaki with different toppings and been able to taste 7 differents sake (hot or cold, "polished" or not, fruity or not, I will let Momo explain you everything about that). The room where we tasted and cooked is very functional and stylish in my opinion. I highly recommend you this experience ! PS : Momo speaks super well English 👏 (not like me)

This experience was amazing. Momo was a welcoming and caring guest, really knowleadgable about sake (and passionated about it) and takoyaki. We learned a lot and she helped me surprise my girlfriend at her birthday with a special dessert. I would recommend this experience 100% thank you for everything Momo!

This was one of the very best experiences we've ever booked! Momoko was definitely our favorite host/guide we encountered in Japan. She's a great teacher and clearly very passionate about sake (she's a sake sommelier!). We had a fun time learning more about sake and how to make takoyaki. Both the sake and home-made takoyaki were excellent as well, and we had plenty to eat and drink. Overall, we really enjoyed spending the evening with Momoko and would highly recommend this experience for anyone visiting Osaka. We will certainly be back the next time we return to Japan!

If you're in Osaka, this experience is a MUST. :) We had such a lovely evening, it was for sure one of the best activities of our entire trip. Momoko is a fantastic host, speaks good English and taught us everything about Sake from scratch and also how to make delicious Takoyaki with different toppings. We spent almost all the time chatting away with her and also learned a lot about living in Japan and Japanese culture, which was great! Time flew by so fast. My husband had some takoyaki with wagyu beef and cheese which were delicious. As I am a pescetarian, Momoko provided me with some shrimp instead, so everybody was catered for, and the takoyaki were - honestly - even better than the ones we had had in Shinsekai the day before! Before this, we had hardly ever had Sake and we got to try lots of different varieties (hot and cold), which were all spectacular. Definitely would recommend to all foodies visiting Osaka!
