Restaurant Details
Yakiniku is all the rage in Japan. No one does grilled meat as well as the Japanese and that can be proven by the countless famous yakiniku restaurants in the country, including Shotai-en Souhonten in Machiya, Tokyo. This restaurant is extremely popular with a highly-praised reputation for not only its tender meat but also its delicious sauce.
Meat lovers won't have to worry about counting pennies before ordering as Sota-en Souhonten is extremely good value for money. Recommended menu items include Harami and Kami-roi, but the real deal is the sirloin sushi that will be prepared right in front of you. A fist-sized sirloin cut will be baked and grilled at the surface, then thinly sliced and prepared with seaweed rolls and wasabi.
With a huge variety of menu options that include rice bowls, a mixture of meats, and child-friendly options, Shotai-en Souhonten is an ideal location for any occasion — be it a family dinner, a work lunch or a casual date.
