Dinner and a show. The open kitchen takes center stage as the culinary team prepares masterful dishes utilizing heirloom Kyoto vegetables and French culinary techniques.
Restaurant Details
Located within ROKU KYOTO, LXR Hotels & Resorts, the French restaurant TENJIN offers three distinct dining areas: a bar serving light meals and beverages, an all-day dining room open from breakfast through dinner, and the Chef's Table — an intimate evening experience where dishes are prepared right in front of you. A bamboo theme runs throughout every zone, with light golden tones of wood creating a soothing, minimalist atmosphere.
At TENJIN Chef's Table, the open kitchen becomes a stage, delighting guests with culinary artistry at every turn. Seasonality is at the forefront of TENJIN's style, which draws from French cooking techniques. Some courses even utilize herbs and Kyo-yasai (Kyoto Prefecture's heirloom vegetables) picked straight from the garden on the hotel premises.
Just 9 counter seats are available per service at TENJIN Chef's Table, so reservations are essentially mandatory.
