My partner and I had a wonderful experience with Chef Saisho. He is a very kind and gracious host, and our dining experience with him was everything we could have wanted! He proved to be very knowledgeable as he guided us through the market. He asked our opinions on the fresh seafood available and picked up an assortment of ingredients to prepare for our lunch, as well as helped translate questions we had for different vendors. We walked to his restaurant from the market and he began preparing a delicious omakase lunch for us while entertaining our questions and telling us stories. We also had an opportunity to learn from Chef Saisho how to form nigiri sushi and practice ourselves. The food was excellent and our experience with Chef Saisho was a highlight of our recent trip to Japan. Thank you Chef!!

Our morning with Chef Saisho was one of the highlights of our two week trip to Japan. Couldn't have asked for a better experience. Even my 15-year-old son was finally convinced to eat proper sashimi and nigiri following Saisho-san's gentle lead. Highly recommended. My only regret was not being able to return to his restaurant for an omakase evening.

Tremendous experience in Tokyo! Authentic opportunity to enjoy the famous fish market with a local chef. Chat with various vendors and learn about what chefs look for when making their purchases. Nobu shops while we learn and then takes you back to his tiny restaurant and prepares what he just bought - the freshest sushi you’ll ever eat!! Do not miss!!

Chef Saisho is really interesting, he has a lot of info for you regarding the market, the products, the types of fish, he takes a tour of the entire market and also gives you tips regarding where to buy cheaper souvenirs. After this 1 hour walk, you leave to his restaurant where you learn how to make your own sushi and the fun continues. Sushi making experience is a thing that you should really consider doing while in Japan.
