In about seven hours, you will ride a scenic ropeway, wander through a hillside herb garden, step into a unique carpentry tools museum, enjoy a Kobe beef lunch, visit a peaceful shrine, and finish with a sake tasting at a historic brewery.

Set between the Rokko Mountains and Osaka Bay, Kobe is often called the City of Mountains and Sea.

The city blends natural beauty with a relaxed urban charm, from sweeping viewpoints to lively streets and local food spots. You will explore it all with a licensed local guide who knows the city deeply and shares stories shaped by years of experience and a genuine love for Japan.

The journey begins with the Nunobiki Ropeway, where you glide above the city and take in views of Nunobiki Falls, the harbor, and the coastline stretching into the distance.

At the top, the Nunobiki Herb Garden offers a calm escape filled with thousands of herbs and flowers, along with open terraces overlooking Kobe.

The tour begins in nature and moves into craftsmanship at the Takenaka Carpentry Tools Museum.

There, you will discover traditional Japanese woodworking through hands-on exhibits and detailed displays that highlight the skill behind Japan’s wooden architecture.

Lunch is a highlight of the day, featuring Kobe beef served at a local restaurant near Sannomiya Station. Vegetarian options can be arranged if needed, ensuring everyone can enjoy the meal at their own pace.

After lunch, visit Ikuta Shrine, a quiet and meaningful place in the heart of the city. Known for its connection to love and blessings, it offers a peaceful break from the busy streets.

The day ends at the Hakutsuru Sake Brewery, where you will learn about sake production and enjoy a guided tasting of locally brewed sake.
