Experience Details
Explore the best of Kobe on this full-day guided walking tour! Over the course of seven hours, you’ll glide up a scenic ropeway, visit a charming herb garden, explore a carpentry tools museum, enjoy a Kobe beef lunch, slow down at a sacred shrine, and end the day sampling sake at a distillery. Cradled between the Rokko Mountains and the scenic shores of Osaka Bay, Kobe boasts a picturesque setting that has earned it the nickname "The City of Mountains and Sea”. From the stunning natural landmarks and vistas to the vibrant shopping streets and street food stretches you’ll see the best of it all with your trusty guide by your side! Leading the way is a team of licensed, dedicated guides with a deep passion for and knowledge of Kobe. Having launched their operation in 2015, this group of guides come from all walks of life but share a common love for Japan. Here's the lowdown on your day in Kobe: Nunobiki Ropeway: Glide up the ropeway from the Herb Garden Sanroku Station. Gaze out from the glass cable car at the stunning Nunobiki Falls below and the distant Kobe Port. Nunobiki Herb Garden: Japan's herb haven boasts 75,000 herbs and 200 flower species. Marvel at Kobe City's vista from the observation plaza, terrace, and Kaze no Oka Square. Takenaka Carpentry Tools Museum: After herbs, it's time for history. Stroll from Shin-Kobe Station to this one-of-a-kind museum. Touch, see, and appreciate the rare carpentry tools preserving Japan's heritage. Lunch Time: Savor world-renowned Kobe beef. We'll guide you to a restaurant near Sannomiya Station or try veggie options if that's your preference. Ikuta Shrine: Explore Kobe's beloved shrine, where love blossoms. Couples tie the knot here, and mystical waters foretell the future. Hakutsuru Sake Brewery: Wrap up the day with a taste of Japan's finest sake at Hakutsuru Sake Brewery. Learn the secrets of sake-making and relish the flavors in a sake tasting.
