Experience Details
Experience off-the-beaten-path Tokyo and explore hidden gem foodie spots during the All Star Tokyo Food Tour. Here, you will get a taste of the diverse personalities of the Tokyo neighborhoods of Yurakucho, Ginza, and Shinbashi.
To start your journey, you’ll travel back in time to 1970s Japan and traverse the maze of eateries in Yurakucho’s Gado Shita area, a favorite watering hole of Japanese businessmen. First, you’ll travel back in time to 1970s Japan as you explore the maze of eateries of Yurakucho’s Gado Shita, a favorite watering hole of Japanese businessmen, and enjoy traditional bar foods at two locations. Then in Ginza, one of Japan’s most "Oshare" (stylish) shopping areas, you can get an eyeful of some of Tokyo’s most famous landmarks and visit a Senbei (rice cracker) shop with a recipe dating back 200 years! Then, try several regional foods from Miyazaki Prefecture, without even hopping on a plane. And of course, dessert is a must! Lastly, going to Shinbashi (the workingman’s off-hours playground) from high-class and sparkly Ginza, you can really appreciate the diversity of Tokyo. There, the food and drinks flow as Tokyo office workers relax and unwind for the day.
The All-Star Tokyo Food Tour will show you the many sides of Tokyo, giving you historical, cultural, and (our favorite) culinary insights into this massive metropolis. Enjoy Japanese bar foods, street foods, finger foods, and dessert at several stops along the way, and get inside tips from a local tour guide. One of our longest running, most popular, and most highly-rated tours, the All Star Tokyo Food Tour will show you Tokyo as you’ve never seen it before!
