On this guided food tour, you’ll visit carefully selected restaurants to taste a variety of classic Japanese dishes.
Start your experience by meeting your host at Ueno Station, where you’ll review the day’s itinerary. Your first stop is a sushi restaurant inside the station, where you’ll enjoy three pieces of melt-in-your-mouth sushi, including tuna, salmon, and boiled shrimp. Upgrade with a refreshing Japanese sake if you choose the drink package option.
Next, wander through the bustling Ameyoko Street, taking in the sights and energy on your way to the second stop. Here, you’ll savor five pieces of crispy gyoza with your choice of four options: traditional pork and cabbage, vegetable, cheddar cheese, or boiled gyoza.
A short walk brings you to a lively izakaya, where your guide introduces the world of yakitori, or grilled chicken skewers. Taste three classic skewers: crispy chicken skin, juicy chicken thigh with green onion, and chicken meatballs.
Pair your meal with a drink of your choice, including cold beer, sake, Japanese whisky, shochu, or a soft drink.
The final stop is a ramen restaurant, where you’ll enjoy a comforting bowl of chicken-based ramen with handmade noodles.
