This curated walking tour, led by a local host, makes it easy to see the highlights. Begin at the Asakusa Culture Tourist Information Center, where you’ll meet your guide and start your journey.


First, explore the Sensoji Temple complex. With a history of over a thousand years, this iconic temple is one of Tokyo's most famous landmarks.


While strolling, your host will share stories and cultural insights, bringing the temple and its traditions to life. Next, head to the Sanrio Gift Gate, where you can browse an array of character-themed souvenirs.


Continue along Nakamise Shopping Street, where local products, snacks, and sweets fill the lanes, perfect for tasting and shopping as you go.


Along the way, pause to sip matcha and enjoy treats like ice cream, melon pan, and dango skewers, all while learning more about Asakusa’s rich history from your guide.


After a few hours of walking and exploring, conclude the tour with a lunch at a local restaurant serving A5-grade wagyu beef. Delight in slices of perfectly grilled marbled wagyu, served with side dishes such as tempura and sushi, along with soft drinks and dessert.
