Situated alongside the Meguro River, this Nakameguro French restaurant makes use of the stunning location with a long window which provides a view of the cherry blossom trees outside. When they are in bloom, the window turns into a living watercolor. Chef and owner Shinya Otsuchihashi studied in Lyon before working under Joel Robuchon in Ebisu. Nowadays, he serves up bistro dining with a higher level of class and complexity, with bread pairings to match each dish. This means delights such as Hokkaido venison on a bed of colorful vegetable disks, and yellowtail with chrysanthemum — a beautiful floral presentation which brings the freshness of the scene outside onto the plate.
