Restaurant Details

La Lucanda is a cozy Italian restaurant in Gifu prefecture. The chef is from Milano and has experience working as a chef in London and Paris. There is also a cafe where you can enjoy desserts that are made by an exclusive patissier. The interior is modern with some bohemian flair, featuring handmade local goods and art, as well as decorative greenery. Up the stairs, you’ll enter the restaurant, a cozy space with an open kitchen and counter seating, as well as a few tables. For lunch, La Lucanda Italian Teishoku (¥1,400) includes salad, soup, antipasto, focaccia, and today’s pasta. Short course and full course menus are also available. You can add today’s main dish for ¥1,000. At the cafe, there are various kinds of cakes and pastries. All the cakes and pastries go very well with La Lucanda’s special coffee, which is an authentic Italian-style coffee. For dinner, there are three types of courses for all budgets, going for ¥5,000, ¥8,000, and ¥10,000. Chef Luca Lattuada likes to serve fresh pasta as one of the courses at dinnertime so guests can get a taste of authentic handmade noodles. Alcoholic beverages are also available including Italian wine, homemade limoncello, Italian beer, and more.
