Chef-owner Hirokazu Uno has refined his skills for years at famous restaurants in Tokyo and Gunma before opening up his own restaurant, Shosaichuka Hiro, with his wife. Uno strives for his restaurant to be more than just ramen and dumplings — there’s a wide variety of dishes on the menu including Taisho shrimp in Chengdu chili sauce. Every ingredient is sourced with the utmost care for quality and freshness. As seasonality plays a big part, keep an eye out for seasonal dishes like fluffy crab rice balls that are only available when the crab is in season. For those who are more adventurous in curating a meal on their own, Shosaichuka Hiro offers an a la carte menu.
