You can’t beat a sushi restaurant that upholds the old traditions of Edomae sushi while constantly evolving to make their sushi craft uniquely their own. Sushi Yoshida is owned by Kenji Yoshida, a skilled sushi chef with years of experience under his belt. You can find this traditional sushi restaurant in Kurume, not so far off of the main Kurume Station but far enough to avoid the busy bustles and noises. The peace and serenity add on to the dining experience.


Take a seat at the counter to admire the sushi master’s effortless skills up close. Only the freshest ingredients caught in Kyushu itself are used, and combining with Chef Yoshida’s refined techniques, rest assured that you’re in good hands with the omakase course. The signature tuna sushi is made with vinegar that’s been aged for about a decade — definitely one for the books!
