This was one of our favorite experiences in Japan! Kaori was a great instructor and it was so fun to talk to her and learn. The food was amazing and we’re excited to get home and make it ourselves! It started at the supermarket and she pointed out all of the ingredients which was very helpful to see what to look for when shopping. Learning how to make sauces and dessert was unexpected, but added to the great experience! Highly recommend this class :)

We loved this cooking experience with Kaori! Kaori is lovely and welcomed us into her home to teach us how to make Ramen and Gyoza. Kaori was happy to answer all of our questions and give us tips on how to cook traditional Japanese food. This was a highlight of our trip to Japan and would highly recommend!

Nahoko’s ramen cooking class was an incredible experience! We learned to make authentic ramen from scratch, from preparing the broth to perfecting the noodles and toppings. Nahoko provided detailed explanations of each ingredient, including its role in the dish and why certain flavors are combined. What surprised us most was the effort involved—crafting a bowl of ramen is truly an art! Nahoko guided us through every step with patience and expertise. Each of us made a different version—gluten-free, chicken, and vegetarian. We also received a handout with the recipe, making it easy to recreate at home. The final result? Absolutely delicious! The flavors were deep and rich, proving that all the effort was worth it. If you love ramen and want to understand its depth, this class is a must!
