A great session with Takako, learning about Japanese home cooking and the benefits for fermented foods. Tasted koji, kombu, mirin and a variety of soy sauces. Takako then made some healthy and delicious dishes, which was a good change from some heavier restaurant meals. The recipes were also provided! Would definitely recommend.

This was a great class. The teacher was very friendly and knowledgeable. she helped explain how to make the udon and also what other ingredients I can substitute when I return to my home country. Udon was delicious, I’m looking forward to making it at home!

Our best night in Tokyo Master Masako is a really knowledgeable chef and it has been an honour knowing her mum and grandma’s recipe She is also extremely kind and generous and goes the extra mile to make your evening a special one. And she does in a really natural way. We had such a fun time learning how to cook Udon traditionally! The instructor and restaurant were great and it was really fun to step on the dough. I would highly recommend getting the wagyu and tempura add ons. It is only slightly more expensive but it makes the final meal extra delicious!
