Affordable French gastronomy in Ginza is a rare thing to be savored.
Restaurant Details
Chef Hideo Yamamoto was born in 1980 and has had an impressive career on the Tokyo French cooking scene since 2002. He now runs one of central Tokyo’s most exciting French restaurants, with an ethos based around fulfilling the potential of Japanese ingredients by maximizing their flavors.
This contemporary restaurant is on the 8th floor of the EXIT MELSA shopping and entertainment towers in Ginza. The dishes are plated with cutting edge presentation, such as splashes of squid ink on white plates, and plants woven and cooked to create little lattice cages in which dishes are encased.
Despite these haute cuisine touches, the food here is amazingly affordable. Dinner features around 11 dishes for only 10,000 yen!
You can enjoy wine pairings (all of the bottles sourced from France) for just an extra 4,500 or 8000 yen, at lunch and diner respectively.
