Takajo Kotobuki

This wildfowl restaurant has a long history, located in an area that is likewise steeped in it — Asakusa. This place has long been famed for having the best duck in Japan, hunted in the countryside surrounding the city. Due to the instability of wildfowl availability, there are a limited number of restaurants in Tokyo which specialize in it, and Takajo Kotobuki is foremost among them. Choice parts of the game are grilled and baked to perfection, with seasonal vegetables, creating a perfect package of hearty, carnivorous cuisine.
