Yaoyu
Yaoyu
Below are equally premium chefs with much higher acceptance, same caliber, easier to secure.
Attractive and delicious French food and wine served by a husband and wife team at their formerly Michelin-starred restaurant in Tokyo.
Restaurant Details
Yaoyu opened in 2017, and managed to get a Michelin star just one year after! This was thanks to the combined efforts of the husband and wife team who runs it. Satoshi Toriumi mans the kitchen, as he has experience cooking in Paris, once head chef at the restaurant Chez les Anges. Sachiko Toriumi is a sommelier who spent a three year tenure at one of the best restaurants in the entire world!
Their own restaurant is very centrally located, just slightly northeast of the Imperial Palace, in Marunouchi. The dishes on offer are very visually creative, with lovely use of garnishes to make them as much a feast for the eye as the mouth. A menu of all-natural wines is also available to pair with them.
