I had a great experience with Shun. It was on a Monday so I was the only patron, but Shun was in great spirit and catered the experience solely for me. We went around to 3 local spots, which I would've never in a million years be able to locate myself. Honestly, felt like just kicking it with friends as we drank highballs, beers, and sake throughout the night. I highly recommend Shun. His sake knowledge and vibe is unbeatable!

We had a fantastic time on our tour. Our guide, Hiro, was very knowledgeable and adept at navigating the crowded market; he was also great at making the group feel welcome and comfortable together. Tons of food to both look at and taste ending with a sushi demonstration and tasting. We would highly recommend doing a tour over going it alone.

Toshi was a great host. We tried many delicious foods and he was very accommodating!

Yuki was our guide at the fish markets today, and provided a wealth of history of the area and local market. We enjoyed the different shops and tasting the food, and topped it off with the best sake we have ever tasted!! Dee & Michael..

If I could give Bruce thousands of stars for a review I would! Bruce texted us in the USA shortly after we booked our food tour. He continued to check in on us several times before our tour. When we met Bruce in person he seemed like a long lost friend. He is fluent in English and Japanese. My husband uses a cane and he made sure the walking wasn’t too much for him. We started our tour in a quaint restaurant that he made a reservation for. It’s one of those places that you would NEVER find unless you knew it was there. We enjoyed salad, sashimi and fried chicken. It was all AMAZING!!! We finished our evening at a Hakata ramen restaurant. Really good! The next morning he texted us to wish us well on a day trip we had planned. I told him we had to cancel because I lost my medication on our travels. Without it I get physically ill. Not only did Bruce find me a doctor to get my medication. He actually picked me and my husband up at our hotel!!! After I got my meds, we all went to lunch and finished the afternoon at the Fukuoka gyoza festival! We will NEVER forget his kindness and caring as well as an amazing culinary experience. I feel as though we made a friend for life and will return to Fukuoka someday😊
