This hybrid bicycle tour combines an active ride through the city and countryside with a hands-on experience at a historical green tea farm.
Meet your guide at JR Shizuoka Station and hop on your rental bicycle to explore the local shopping streets.
Pedal along the scenic Abe River and into the green fields of the countryside.
Arriving at a tea farm with a 150-year history, you’ll walk through the grounds, learn about traditional tea cultivation, and enjoy a tasting of freshly brewed aromatic green tea in a historic building.
Afterward, cycle back toward Shizuoka, stopping at Shizuoka Sengen Shrine to soak in the spiritual atmosphere, and explore a vintage shopping district before returning to the station to conclude your tour.
This journey blends city streets, riverside paths, and tea fields for a unique, immersive experience of Shizuoka.
