Experience Details
Leave the city behind and step into Hokkaido’s open countryside, where wide fields and quiet skies set a slower, more natural pace from the moment you arrive.
At this farm, the air carries a light scent of grass and earth, and the setting invites you to focus on simple, hands-on creation.
This experience centers on making and tasting food with your own hands.
You can choose one activity from sausage making, cheese making, or cow milking, each guided by farm staff through clear, step-by-step instructions.
The process is easy to follow, allowing you to settle into the rhythm of preparing something from the ground up.
If you choose sausage making, you will mix fresh farm meat with spices such as garlic, chili pepper, and basil, adjusting the flavor to your liking before shaping your own sausages. The texture is soft and slightly sticky as you work, and the process feels both tactile and rewarding.
For cheese making, you handle warm curds and watch them slowly take form as they are pressed and shaped.
If you select cow milking, you will learn a gentle, steady technique in a calm farm setting, accompanied by the quiet sounds of the animals and surrounding fields.
After the activity, you will sit down to a BBQ lunch prepared on site.
Grilled beef, vegetables, and farm-made sausages are served hot, with a light smoky aroma rising from the grill. You will also taste what you created yourself, adding a personal connection to each bite.
The experience flows naturally from making to eating, with time to enjoy the scenery in between.
Before you leave, you will receive a small farm souvenir, a simple reminder of a day shaped by hands-on work and the quiet charm of Hokkaido’s countryside.
