Your host, an experienced chef in authentic Japanese cuisine, will welcome you and explain the history and cultural significance of tempura.

You will then put on a traditional happi coat, setting the stage for a hands-on cooking experience infused with Japanese tradition.

Guided by the chef, you will make your tempura rice bowl from start to finish, feeling the smooth batter coat of fresh vegetables and seafood, hearing the gentle sizzle as they hit the hot oil, and watching them turn golden and crisp.

The small group setting ensures personalized instruction tailored to every skill level, whether you are a first-time cook or already familiar with Japanese techniques.

As the meal comes together, the chef will explain the dining etiquette and tips for savoring your creation. After that, you will enjoy the tempura rice bowl you made along with mini udon and matcha ice cream, while sharing laughter and discoveries with fellow participants.
