No experience is needed. All ingredients, tools, and step-by-step guidance are provided by friendly English-speaking instructors.

What will I make during the class?

You will make 9 pieces of nigiri sushi and 3 pieces of gunkan-maki using fresh ingredients and traditional techniques.

Can I eat the sushi I make?

Yes. After the hands-on session, you can enjoy the sushi you created. Guests may also try Japanese sake alongside their sushi for a full cultural experience.

Will I get anything to take home?

Yes. At the end of the class, you’ll receive a small souvenir and a Sushi-Making Certificate to remember your experience in Kyoto.
