The brewery tour was interesting. It was not the season for it to be running but we were able to see all the working parts. The host in Japanese was a bit long winded and thankfully our guide did not translate everything he said but it did make the tour drag on a bit. However all was good as our guide suggested a wonderful place for us to have lunch and end our day on a good note.

Wearing a kimono and enjoying tea while overlooking the coast was relaxing and elegant. The preparation and kimono fitting were enjoyable. Views of Mt. Fuji depend heavily on weather, which may affect expectations. The sweets and tea were pleasant. Best for travelers seeking a calm, scenic experience.

A great introduction to sake brewing and tasting. Seeing the tools and learning how sake is made helped me understand the process better. The guide was friendly and did his best to explain everything clearly. A short handout or tasting overview would help overcome language barriers. Still, a very enjoyable first brewery experience.

We had the pleasure to have our tour with Kumi, which was an amazing host. She thought us a lot about sake and the tasting was very great. Next to sake we learned a lot about Japan and the next city we will visit. Kumi also knows a lot about Japan and amazing places to visit in Japan. We would always booking a tour with her again.

My wife and I had a great time and learned a lot about how sake is made. Kyoko was very helpful and made us comfortable to ask questions. I recommend this to anyone interested in Japanese culture, understanding sake making, and of course, experiencing Japanese hospitality.

My wife and I loved this experience, with the great help of our lovely host Kumi we learnt all about the process and hard work that goes into making Sake and tasted some their products which were delicious! After this we were treated to some traditional noodles at a restaurant nearby. Highly recommended!! Thanks Kumi!!!

While admitedly the brewery was out of the way, this expierence was certainly worth the trip! We were lucky enough to have a more intimate tour on the day of our visit and the quality and depth of knowledge from the brewery staff was excellent. Kumi, our guide/host/interpreter, was also incredibly kind and helpful. The tasting was informative and unique since there were certain kinds of sake that we had simply never had the chance to sample before. Overall, my wife and I went in feeling fairly knowledgable about the process and we still walked away learning alot. Another highlight was the opportunity to eat lunch afterwards near by at an udon shop run by a 90 year old woman who was still going strong. It was like eating a home cooked meal at your grandmother's house, give yourself time and get lunch there if you can! 11/10 would drink all the sake again!

I loved this tour! The guide translated from Japanese to English as the tour went on, I learned a lot about sake. Then after the tour the group had some samples to try. Our guide then took us to a local noodle place nearby, that has been family-run for a very long time. They had home-made noodles and a dipping sauce that was very unique. Overall I would absolutely recommend this for anyone visiting Japan and interested in Japanese tradition, especially if you like rice wine!

This was a great tour with Kumi. It was a bit of travel but good to be in a different area. No hotel meet for our tour. The Saki tasting was great and an amazing Ramen for lunch. Kumi is a great tour leader and I’m looking forward to returning on another tour one day.
