The sister restaurant of Imayoshi Otemachi, carrying on the legacy of traditional Edomae sushi since 1957.
Restaurant Details
Founded in 1957, Sushi Imayoshi Kojimachi is the sister restaurant of the long-established Imayoshi Otemachi, one of Tokyo’s most respected sushi establishments. Sharing the same roots and spirit as its flagship location, the Kojimachi branch upholds Imayoshi’s proud Edomae tradition while adding its own refined sensibility to the experience.
Each morning, the chef personally selects premium seafood from Toyosu Market, comparing the freshest catches alongside the Otemachi team. Only the finest ingredients are chosen, each prepared with meticulous attention to seasonality, texture, and balance. The result is a sushi experience that captures the essence of Tokyo’s culinary craftsmanship—traditional yet ever-evolving.
The atmosphere is warm and unpretentious, allowing guests to relax whether for business, celebrations, or casual dining among friends. From carefully seasoned rice to delicately sliced fish and seasonal appetisers, every detail reflects a deep respect for Japan’s culinary heritage.
Located just steps from Kojimachi Station, Sushi Imayoshi Kojimachi offers an authentic and elegant omakase journey—an encounter with the timeless artistry of Edomae sushi, brought to life by the successors of a Tokyo institution.
