Our family had a fabulous time with Miho making sushi in Kichijoji. Miho was a kind and knowledgeable teacher, guiding us patiently as we made inside out rolls and nigiri to eat for lunch. I would highly recommend this experience and am coming back for the bento class. 5 stars! 🌟

We had a wonderful and truly unique experience at Masaho's sushi class. While eating at a sushi restaurant is great, the sushi we made ourselves tasted even more special. Masaho was incredibly kind and patient throughout the entire class. Not only did she gently guide us through the process, but she also spoke excellent English and taught us about the history of sushi and what everyday life in Japan is like. Instead of being in an office room, we made sushi in an authentic Japanese house. This gave us a wonderful glimpse into the daily life of a Japanese family. From start to finish, we had a fantastic time with Masaho. We would highly recommend this class to anyone visiting Tokyo who wants an authentic Japanese experience.

Wonderful small group experience with 8 people total. Very informative and friendly throughout. They did an exceptional job at teaching us how to actually make sushi. Many classes we’ve taken in the past have really been more hands off or pre-prepared. These ladies did an excellent job! The food was awesome with two rolls, 6 nigiri and miso soup to prepare and eat. Come hungry!

My husband and I attended the 5-day course over a few months while living in Tokyo and absolutely enjoyed it! Miyuki-san was very thorough, explained us a lot of things about Japanese food and culture, and provided us several delicious recipes in each class. I guess one could consider us to be foodies, who have experienced, experimented and tried out a lot of different foods also of the Japanese cuisine, but this class was absolutely wonderful in bringing us deeper knowledge to the topic. Miyuki-san answered all of our questions about the cooking methods, ingredients, etc. also other than in the recipes of the class. Our 9 y.o. daughter also joined the class a few times and enjoyed especially the Wagashi-class that we chose as our selected topic for the 5th session. The course was surely one of our highlights when living in Tokyo. Can only give our warmest recommendations!

I had a great time in this cooking class! We made many types of sushi (including a california roll.) We only had 8 people in our small group which was nice, it made the class feel cozy and really like home cooking!! Another benefit was that you got lots of personal guidance 1-on-1 time with the teachers who were all really skills and friendly! They spoke great English. I highly recommend this class!

We really enjoyed this class. We had lots of fun learning how to prepare many types of sushi and then eating them. The cooking class is held at a small apartment which gave it a nice atmosphere. Also the staff spoke great English. I'd definitely recommend this class if you love sushi and want to try making it.
