Much harder than I thought it would be. Instructors were super kind and helpful. I had lots of fun. I just wish that we had more practice turns.

Delightful! Everyone in my family loved making mochi with Sakura (and petting Choco at the end) and she taught us so much! It was one of our favorite activities

Our nine year old is very shy and Sakura san approached her with patience and after a while she felt comfortable. We’re so glad that we did this and recommend the class wholeheartedly. Yuko was a great host and taught us how to make Nerikiri in a very easy to understand manner. It was amazing that we, who had no experience in Japanese confectionery making, could make such beautiful Nerikiri!! It was a wonderful experience!! Thank you, Yuko!

I loved my experience with Yuko-San. She was a very sweet lady who wants to make sure you get the best experience possible. The cooking was pretty fast paced but it's because she wants you to have the time slow down and enjoy the sweets you made while drinking a cup of tea and chatting with her. She is interested in you and wants to know about your story. If you learn Japanese before booking this class, you will gain even more from this experience since you will able to connect with her even more. I truly think she makes the experience worth it. It is much better than a step by step Youtube video. It felt more personal. Arigatō gozaimasu Yuko-San

My sisters, cousin, and I took the mochi sweets class with Sakura san. It was an absolutely amazing experience! Sakura san is an exceptional teacher and we learned so much from her. Her step by step lesson was perfect and I am excited to bring home everything I have learned. The different types of mochi were delicious. She even gave a lesson on the history of mochi. I am so grateful for this course and I highly recommend it for everyone. It was a great experience making a cultural dish. Thank you so much Sakura san!
