During this class in Osaka, take things to the next level with a hands-on sushi-making experience. Learn about this seemingly simple dish's historical and cultural role in Japan before creating up to 20 sushi pieces by hand.

Meet your host at the cooking venue in the heart of Osaka, just moments from Dotonbori. To begin, you’ll be introduced to the fascinating history of sushi and learn the essential skills to produce authentic nigiri (sushi rice with a topping) and maki (rolled sushi).


The class will be led by friendly English-speaking instructors, ready to answer any question about sushi-making and Japanese food.


Next, you'll move on from theory to practice. Using 10 different ingredients like fish and vegetables, you will roll, press and cut up to 20 pieces of sushi.


Under the guidance of sushi masters, you’ll experiment with the traditional sushi-making steps passed down for generations in Japan.
