Experience Details

Discover a hidden Osaka restaurant filled with Shikoku flavors, where the aroma of simmering chicken, fresh rice, and nori welcomes you into a space where food and culture come together.

Your hosts, Rie and Kunichika, introduce you to the Okami, the elegant proprietress whose hands have shaped countless authentic Japanese dishes over decades.

The experience begins with introductions and a short history of Shikoku cuisine. Then, you move to the hands-on session.

Guided by the Okami, you learn to roll Gomoku maki sushi with precision, feeling the soft, sticky rice yield under your fingers. At the same time, layers of fresh vegetables, fish, and savory fillings create a visual and textural harmony.

Next, you will make an onigiri, the classic rice ball, filled with savory kashiwa chicken rice. Each step focuses on technique and balance while your hosts share stories of Shikoku traditions and family meals.

Enjoy a relaxed session with an all-you-can-drink menu, where laughter mixes with the gentle sounds of chopping and sizzling in the kitchen.

In the end, each bite carries both flavor and story and guests will leave with new skills, recipes, and memories of warm, genuine Japanese hospitality.
