A great session with Takako, learning about Japanese home cooking and the benefits for fermented foods. Tasted koji, kombu, mirin and a variety of soy sauces. Takako then made some healthy and delicious dishes, which was a good change from some heavier restaurant meals. The recipes were also provided! Would definitely recommend.

You could tell this wasn’t just expertise; it was a genuine love for the craft. The tea itself was absolutely exquisite. Each variety we sampled was more nuanced and flavorful than the last, with layers of aroma and taste I had never noticed before. This is the best class for anyone who loves cooking. It is also a new and fun class for those who don't like cooking. Also, this cafe, which hosts this tour, is very friendly and caring to everyone. It has various souvenirs made with kome rice, and it is a very nice cafe that is eco-friendly. I will try to make onigiri in the way they taught me. If you go to Tokyo, Japan, you should definitely take this class. Not only will you have fun, you can also eat your own delicious onigiri. この店最高 :)
