Experience Details
Udon, tempura, and gyoza are a match made in culinary heaven! Learn to make these iconic Japanese dishes at Emi’s cooking class in Tokyo and discover the joy of home-style Japanese cuisine.
Your instructor, Emi, is a native of Tokyo with a lifelong passion for cooking. Her love for Japanese cuisine began in her own kitchen and grew into a desire to share the culture and craft of cooking with others. In her warm, welcoming studio, she’ll guide you step by step through this hands-on culinary experience.
The class begins at Emi’s studio, conveniently located near the train station. Once you arrive, you’ll settle in and get ready to make udon, tempura, and gyoza from scratch. You’ll knead fresh udon noodles and prepare a flavorful dashi broth. Then, fry crispy tempura and shape your own gyoza, choosing from minced pork, shrimp, or vegetable fillings. Please note your preferences when booking.
After all your hard work, it’s time to enjoy the fruits of your labor. Savor the delicious tempura udon and gyoza you’ve made, then take home an English recipe booklet so you can recreate the dishes at home.
We also welcome team-building events and school trip inquiries. Please note that individual requests like vegetarian or gluten-free options cannot be accommodated for large groups.
On national holidays, classes are available only for groups of 5 or more. Unfortunately, we are unable to accept bookings for groups of 4 or less on these dates.
