The best meal we had in Japan. Incredibly well thought-out and perfectly prepared dishes that were balanced and delicious from start to finish. The staff were so accommodating and kind, using google translate to pass on their knowledge and interact with us. A traditional dining experience that I will never forget.

This was hands down the best meal we have had in our lives. We couldn't have asked for a better introduction to Kyoto Kaiseki cuisine. The restaurant is family run by a warm and gracious couple, and each course is a piece of art that delights both the eyes and the senses. We left the establishment with our hearts and our bellies full, and would strongly recommend this place to anyone looking for traditional Kyoto Kaiseki food

We loved Bricole. It was all about the food. Minimalist, elegant Japanese decor, just two of us in our own room which I wasn’t expecting. A bit of chatter from the adjoining room’s guests but it wasn’t a problem. Exquisitely prepared and presented omakase course. Beautiful service.

Traditional and elegant restaurant in a quiet neighborhood. Food was incredible and, although the english speaking waitress was not always availabe, they managed to let us know what was on our dishes. Highly recomended restaurant
