Amazing experience! Best in Tokyo.

It was a great Experience. Insane Taste, super nice Hosts, even without proper Language Skill we could share some Laughs and Tales. All in all great Evening.

Beautiful restaurant and some of the best vegan food in Tokyo.

The food was amazing! The depth of flavor and quality of each dish, tickled all of the senses and gave us a great experience! The Chef is so talented and his staff was very kind and attentive. Can’t wait to experience this restaurant again!

An absolutely incredible culinary experience. Despite the language barrier, the chef and I used our phones to translate what we wanted to say to each other about the dishes — and let me tell you, the dishes were absolutely DIVINE. If you have the opportunity to do so, book your chance!

Phenomenal! The restaurant is incredibly intimate - it only fits 7 people. The food was outstanding. And I have allergies - the staff was exceptionally helpful. They took all the stress and worry out. Highly recommend!

We weren't sure what to expect for our first Michelin Star restaurant. My wife and I are vegan and we knew Daigo was one of the only options we would ever have. Thankfully we are big fans of Shojin Ryori, which meant we were excited. We got there about 30 minutes early and they went ahead and seated us. We had our own private room with a beautiful lit garden outside. We were treated to course after course of delicious food that ranged in texture, temperature, and flavor. It was all fantastic and was finished off with an AMAZING red bean soup. The staff were kind and helpful. They made us feel right at home. If you think you'd enjoy an experience of the world's best Shojin Ryori, then we highly recommend going!

Just an incredible evening. One course better than the one before. Tiny little place, just seats 6, but probably the best meal I have had in our month in Asia. Cutting edge taste delights, traditional Japanese hospitality

Funaokayama Shimizu did an amazing job! He was a one man show cooking for my wife and I. He whipped up some amazing dishes! I highly recommend his restaurant to whoever is in the Kyoto area visiting far or near.
