It was such a wonderful experience and a real highlight of our trip! The host and their family were incredibly kind and welcoming. Making gyoza and ramen together was so much fun, and the food was absolutely delicious. I’m excited to try cooking everything again at home. I’d recommend this experience to everyone!

We had a really really great time with Akiko-san, her brother Taka-san, the two cuties Teddy and Milky and the rest of our little group :) We learned alot about the Ramen culture and got to eat exceptionally good food (and a lot! 😁). We wish we could have spend even more time with everyone, because we had such a blast ❤️

This cooking experience was the highlight of our Japan trip. We are a family of 5. Our kids are aged 8, 5, and 1.5 years old. It was such a unique learning experience to get the noodle factory tour, and Akiko and her brother Taka make you feel just like part of the family. Our kids had a blast helping make the noodles and seeing the machinery at work. After the factory tour, we were escorted back to Akiko’s home where the cooking class was held. Her family was so welcoming, and we were so touched that she provided toys for our little kids to play with. Her son also arranged for a separate activity for the kids to do while waiting for the food to cook. The food was delicious, we learned so much, and left feeling so welcomed with this experience. We would do it again in a heartbeat, and would definitely recommend to anyone travelling to Yokohama!

We had an amazing experience! Miss Maki and Miss Suzu met us at the station and guided us to the workshop. It was so much fun chatting with them. Thanks to Miss Maki’s guidance and Miss Suzu’s translation, even complete beginners like us were able to successfully make traditional Japanese sweets. We are so grateful that we were able to have this experience.
