Our experience was fantastic! Bruce and Tomoko were exceptional. This is a must do when in Fukuoka. We wanted to experience the Yatai stalls but felt a little intimidated doing them by ourselves so we booked the tour and we’re so glad we did! We highly recommend to book this to get the real local experience. We made two new friends who helped us enjoy delicious food and were delightful company! 10 out 10. It was an unforgettable evening and an extra-special birthday for my wife.

Bruce is a master host. Not only did he take us to amazing yatais (we're still dreaming about ramen and mochi-wrapped bacon), he provided just the right mix of information, entertainment, and good old-fashioned conversation throughout the evening. Also, his longstanding relationships with the yatai operators were evident - and heartwarming to see. Touring with Bruce was definitely a highlight of our trip!

The food and ambiance were fantastic, and you could tell everyone was really enjoying themselves! The first yatai was truly life-changing—the food was incredible, and the owner was so kind. We had a wonderful time chatting, not only with each other but also with the people around us. Bruce was amazing! He ensured everyone was having a great time, recommending the best dishes at each spot. His friendly and approachable nature made it easy for him to connect with others, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for everyone.

Overall, it was a fantastic opportunity to meet a diverse group of people from around the world. The food was incredible—surprisingly, I ended up really enjoying the mentaiko, which I never thought I would! Each yatai had its own unique atmosphere, making the experience even more fun and memorable!

The food was fantastic, especially the Mentaiko and Butabara. It was such an enjoyable experience and a wonderful way to connect with people. The highlight was definitely Hyotan! Not only was the food amazing, but the elderly mama-san made it truly special. Her warm and cheerful presence felt like a nostalgic nod to the old days, in the best way possible. It had the comforting vibe of authentic "home-cooked" meals, even though it was in a yatai. I highly recommend this tour!
