This was a great and immersive experience! Our guide, Yuko, was so knowledgeable and friendly. She took us to great places, and even to a temple to show us how to properly pay your respects! At the end we received cute thank you gifts☺️ I would highly recommend this experience if you are visiting Osaka to get to know some of the local cuisine and just have a fun time!

We had a fantastic time on our tour and got to see so many things we wouldn't have without Ayako and Miyo (our guides). I would highly recommend doing this tour as we were able to experience the historical side of Osaka as well as the delicious street food.

We loved this tour, and Shizuka was the best host. We took our time at every spot and ended up going waaay past 3.5 hours, but it felt like the time just flew by. Shizuka is such a great conversationalist and knows so much about Tokyo, Japanese food, and Japan in general that this tour was not only fun, but it was also an invaluable learning experience. She was really personable and shared with us a couple of her favorite spots around Tokyo, which we tried, and they did not disappoint. Harujuku can be intimidating, especially during peak travel seasons, because of the crowds and the endless food options, but this tour definitely helped us navigate Harujuku in a pretty relaxed way. I'm also so glad she was there to guide me through me first time trying okonomiyaki, because I would have had no idea what to order or how to cook it myself :)

We had the most amazing evening with Shizuka. Do. Not. Hesitate. ...to book this tour if you have the chance. With the internet at our fingertips, it would be easy to find local food spots. But there's something magical about someone taking you down an area, sharing personal stories and history that gives a special context about the places you are going and the things you are eating. We would not have a changed a thing about the tour except maybe wearing looser pants.
