We had a great time with Ayumi, starting with a brief tour of the temple and then a walking tour of the market, where we got to visit several food stalls and sample a variety of fresh fish and other delicacies. Ayumi shared her knowledge of local foods and also gave us tips about different restaurants to try. We enjoyed chatting with her at John Lennon’s favorite coffee shop inside the market. We also enjoyed our time with a sushi chef, who showed us his knife skills and how to assemble our own fish and rice bowl. .It was great to have an expert guide us around the crowded market and make the experience so educational as well as fun.

Wonderful experience!
We booked a sushi making class for 2 (private), and had a wonderful time.
We got invited into the home of Saeko, the chef who taught us, and saw a side of sushi making we hadn’t before.
Saeko taught us how to make two different types of rolls, nigiri, miso soup and tamagoyaki. We learned every part of making the rolls, from preparing the ingredients and cutting the fish to fill the rolls and rolling them. Throughout the lesson she was very professional, and made sure to explain every little process, so we could do it ourselves.
The class was through and through exceptional, and we will be recommending it to all of our friends and family.
Definitely a 10/10 experience!!
